Problems faced by Farmers in India.
Labour:-We grown up studying Indian economic problems and problems faced by Farmers in India. Once there was a problem of underemployment in farm sector. Employment guarantee viz. NREGA scheme came into being. Rural People especially women got 100 days Employment guarantee. Slowly slowly the scheme stabilised and the woman worker get ₹300 daily for digging river sluge. Earlier these women were exploring employment in farms for cultivation, weeding, harvesting and processing etc at much lower cost than NREGA scheme. Now everyone is after NREGA job hence there is no one available for agriculture activity. Farming is becoming unviable and impossible for want of labour availability. Govt may be or may not be aware of this. People have already reduced dairy milk animal due to unaffordable cost than benefit proportion. Is Govt or someone policy makers listening to this shift in Rural India?
